Synthesis and Investigation of Structural, Magnetic and Antibacterial Properties of Calcium-Magnesium Ferrite Nanoparticles by Thermal Treatment Method
author
Abstract:
This paper reports optical, magnetic and antibacterial properties of calcium-magnesium nanostructure which was prepared by a simple thermal treatment method. Calcination was conducted at temperatures 500 K, The influence of calcination temperature on the degree of crystallinity, microstructure, and phase composition was investigated by different characterization techniques, i.e., X-ray diffraction (XRD), field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM), and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), respectively. The effect of calcination temperature on band gap energy was studied by UV–vis absorption spectra. Magnetic properties of nanoscale materials, such as saturation magnetization (Ms) and magnetic induction (Hc), were investigated by a vibration sample magnetometer (VSM) device in the room, Results showed that calcium-magnesium nanoparticles have been behavior of superparamagnetism. the antibacterial characteristics of studied samples were investigated against Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) and Bacilli as Gram- positive bacteria and Escherichia coli (E. coli) as a Gram- negative bacteria with Grass cultivation method

Synthesis of Magnesium Ferrite-Silver Nanostructures and Investigation of its Photo-catalyst and Magnetic Properties
In this research we first synthesized MgFe2O4 nanostructures via hydrothermal method using (Mg(NO₃)₂.6H₂O) and (Fe(NO₃)₃.9H₂O). The influence of concentration, surfactant, precipitating agent and temperature on the particle size and magnetic properties of the synthesised nanoparticles were examined. Then MgFe2O4-Ag nanocomposites were prepared by a simple chemical precipitation. The structural ...
full textPreparation and investigation of magnetic properties of Manganese Cadmium ferrite nanoparticles by Sol-gel method
In the present investigation, manganese ferrite nanoparticles substituted by cadmium with Mn1-xCdxFe2O4 composition and substituted amount x=(0, 0.1, 0.3, 0.5) were prepared by Sol-gel method. Pattern analysis of X-ray diffraction (XRD) confirmed ferrite single phase structure in all samples. The average crystal size was estimated from 17 to 22 nm. The chemical bonds and ferrite formation phase...
